Now En Español screens at the Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles on September 19th at 7:30pm.
The film is presented by APERTURA Showcase in association with the American Cinematheque, with support from the Eastside Arts Initiative. Program begins with the shorts “Remember This Voice” (2016, 8 min. Dir. Jeff Chan) and “Spark”(2016, 15 min. Dir. Juan Martinez Vera).
Discussion after the feature with directors Jeff Chan, Juan Martinez Vera and Andrea Meller, followed by a cocktail reception in the courtyard for all attendees.

Los Angeles, here we come!
"Now En Español" screens as part of the "Show Me the Money: The Exciting World of Spanish Language Dubbing" at SAG-AFTRA in Los Angeles. Following the screening will be a candid and open Q&A with the director and cast members of the documentary as well as dubbing artists from the daytime drama The Bold and the Beautiful. The discussion will focus on the Spanish language dubbing industry in Los Angeles.

Now En Español is screening as one of 10 films at this years Women's International Film & Arts Festival in Miami! The doc will screen Saturday, November 5th, at 2pm. The film festival is held in conjunction with an annual conference about Breaking Down Barriers. We are so happy to have Now En Español be a part of #WIFF2016!

Now En Español has a busy April and will be playing Friday, April 8th, at the University of Indiana's Latina Film Festival and Conference. Director Andrea Meller will be there for a Q&A and discussion about the film. Click here for more info.
Then on April 13th, the doc will be heading to Rincon, Puerto Rico as a selection of the Rincon International Film Festival. More info here.

Latino Public Broadcasting and Bridge Strategies host an innovative screening and discussion of the new PBS/VOCES documentary, Now En Español.
The evening will explore Latino identity, how we perceive Hollywood’s portrayal of Latinos, and the roles of women in media and entertainment. It will begin with a catered reception where attendees will engage in activations, followed by a screening of the documentary and Q&A hosted by Rita Garcia, Fox26 News Anchor and Director Andrea Meller.
